PTI workers' meeting: Khattak angry as workers chant slogans against inflation

ABBOTTABAD / MANSEHRA: Defense Minister Perz Khattak was outraged when workers attending a workers' meeting chanted slogans against inflation on Thursday.

According to the report, Defense Minister Perez Khattak was speaking at a party workers' conference in Mansehra where some workers began chanting slogans against inflation in the country.

Pervez Khattak angrily warned with warnings that hypocrisy would not be tolerated in the party. "Use the slogan of Imran Khan, who pretends to be a party and I will remove him," he said.

He said inflation was rampant and that Imran Khan was in big trouble. Earlier, KP Premier Mahmood Khan promised the Abbottabad development package Rs20 billion and a number of development plans for the Mansehra region. He made the remarks while addressing a conference of party workers in the Abbottabad and Mansehra regions.

The event was attended by Federal ministers Pervez Khattak, Azam Khan Swati, Umar Ayub, KP Assembly Speaker Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani, members of the provincial cabinet Shaukat Yousafzai, Syed Ahmad Hussain Shah, MNA Salih Muhammad Khan, Babar Saleem Swati Ahmad Hussain Shah and others. .

Speaking at a conference in Abbottabad, Mahmood Khan said workers' views and suggestions were important to the democratic process and that was why Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was important to them.

He said the PTI would prove strong in the second round of local government elections and win a majority of votes. The minister said the "mistakes" made in the first round of local government elections would not be repeated, adding, "We will learn from those mistakes."

Mahmood Khan said there were many ongoing development projects in the KP, including the districts of Abbottabad and Mansehra, which, when completed, would bring about positive changes in people's lives.

He urged staff to be aware of the government's development plans. The prime minister said R1 billion had been approved for Abbottabad Regional Hospital.

Union Minister Persez Khattak said unity in the party was paramount, adding that party workers would be trusted in all circumstances. Earlier, a number of workers, including former Tehsil Nazim Ishaque Zakriya, staged a protest against the attitude of party leaders.

Speaking at a party workers' conference in Mansehra, the prime minister said the PTI was facing turmoil in the first phase of local government elections simply because of internal disagreements.

"We must restore the dignity of our party in the second round of local government elections as non-existent but our differences have led to our party losing the first election in the province," he said.

The premier said the work of the medical college development programs, Datta Expressway and gravity following water supply plans would be launched soon by the billionth and would be completed in the next two years.

He said his party had decided to distribute Ehsaas program checks, health cards and Jawan cards in consultation with the authorization of the party staff. "We were really thinking of merging Mansehra with other districts and taxis, which will be announced soon," said Mahmood Khan.

The premier said he had come to attend the conference as an official as Prime Minister Imran Khan wanted to unite the party in order to thwart a conspiracy of anti-PTI parties in the province. "Strong Pakistan is our priority and to achieve this goal, we stand with Imran Khan," the prime minister said.
